Rodeo with Granny

Ellie was a little frightened by the very large cows! Here, she is saying, "Noooo. I don't like them!" But she warmed up to them eventually.

This is a new chick born very recently born. The rodeo exhibit had about twenty eggs ready to hatch in a very big glass case. We saw a few other chicks trying to poke out of their shells as well.

Ellie learns about mustard here. She only likes ketchup and was curious to understand what Granny does with her mustard!

We took a quick trip to The Woodlands a few days before Easter. Ellie, Kevin and I arrived at midnight, so it took us a few days to get on the right schedule. I had wanted to try to visit friends and see new baby Diego, but it didnt work out for us. Ellie was a pretty big grumpus until Easter morning - and even then, she wasn't her usual self. She did have a great time at the rodeo, however. Granny is great at keeping Ellie occupied and happy!
