Halloween
Ellie was supposed to be a cow. She picked out the cow outfit before we left Texas. She slept in it and wanted to wear it everywhere for two weeks. But when it came time to dress up for Halloween, Ellie wanted to be a princess. I tried to make her a cow. I put the outfit on her and told her how great it looked. She sat on the floor and cried. I gave in. She was a princess. It was really worth it. She was so proud, and she thought she was so beautiful. She decided that Chris was her prince and called him Prince all night. It was really sweet. I asked her if she wanted to wear a crown, and she said, "No, I tink I'm beautiful just the way I am." Very cute... You can tell she's had lots of coaching by Daddy!
At our courtyard party, we had pizza, made rice crispy treat spiders, played, and went trick-or-treating.
Kevin made a great cow. We had a really fun night.
Pumpkin Patch with the Family
We went to Ardenwood farm. Ellie loved the hayride, hay pyramid and pumpkins. We saw orange, purple and green cauliflower. Kevin slept through it all!

It starts so early. Big sister's beating up on their siblings... As the youngest, I remember those days. Poor Kevin!
Ellie's first "Nice Chart" party
Ellie received 75 stars on her Nice Chart for having good behavior! She chose to have a movie party with Mommy and Daddy. We watched Dumbo and ate dinner on the couch! A very big treat for Ellie!
Impromptu Halloween Party
We were headed to a party on campus when a friend called and said the party was terrible - really not a party for little kids. So, we had 4 kids upset that they weren't getting to go to a party with their friends. So, we made a quick party - yogurt, juice, bubbles, silly string!
Kevin in diapers
He's just really cute! In the last picture, he looks a little scared that Ellie's going to hurt him!
Ellie learns about Santa.
This is a picture of Chris telling Ellie all about Santa Clause and his elves. She was a little concerned about this news - someone she doesn't know coming into our house to drop off presents. Eventually she accepted the idea and got excited! I felt a little bad - like we were lying to her. Oh well...
Pumpkin Carving
We had some friends over last week to carve pumpkins. They are from India, so this was their first time to carve a pumpkin! They did a great job.
